BillingBro ("we", "our", "us") is a free billing software service for Indian shopkeepers and small businesses, available at billingbro.com. Contact us at hello@billingbro.com for any privacy-related queries.

2.1 Account Registration Data
- Your name (first and last)
- Username and password (stored as a one-way hash)
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Shop name and address
- GST number (optional)
2.2 Billing Data
- Invoice details (items, amounts, dates, payment type)
- Customer records (name, mobile, email, address)
- Promotion messages sent via the platform
2.3 Usage Data
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
- WhatsApp bill sends (logged for your dashboard stats)
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the billing, invoicing and customer management services
- To send password reset and account emails
- To show your business dashboard statistics
- To send promotional emails on your behalf to your customers
- To improve and maintain the BillingBro service
4. Data We Do NOT Collect or Share
- We do not sell your personal data to any third party
- We do not share customer data with advertisers
- We do not use your billing data for any purpose other than providing the service
- We do not store payment card information (no payments are processed)
5. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption. Access tokens expire automatically. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
Your invoice data and customer records are accessible only to your account and our authorised technical staff for support purposes.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — view all invoices and customer records in your dashboard
- Edit your data — update shop details in Settings at any time
- Delete your data — email us at hello@billingbro.com to request account deletion
- Export your invoices — print or download any invoice as PDF
7. Cookies
BillingBro uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are placed on your device.
8. WhatsApp Integration
When you click the WhatsApp button, BillingBro constructs a wa.me link with the bill text and opens your WhatsApp app. We do not have access to your WhatsApp account, messages or contacts. The message is sent from your device.
9. Email Communications
Promotional emails sent via BillingBro's promotions feature are sent from hello@billingbro.com to your customers on your behalf. You are responsible for having the consent of recipients before sending promotional messages.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you by email for significant changes. Continued use of BillingBro after changes means you accept the updated policy.
